Where rugby sevens began...

Enjoyable visit to Melrose in the Scottish Borders today... A special place for me throughout my life and also I proposed to my now beloved wife on top of the Newstead Eildon (on left in blip)!

Rugby sevens was born here and the Melrose Sevens take place at the Greenyards on the second Saturday of April each year.
