Exposed

Today the pier at Culross was somewhat more exposed than on my last visit. The long running restoration of the pier has now reached the DIY phase....the notice gives visitors how to '...lift hand sized stones....and throw them onto the 500 year old pier', it also contains some handy safety information not to stand on the other side of the pier whilst this is being done as you may get hit by flying stones!

It was a bit too nippy this afternoon to help on the construction so we settled for warming ourselves with a Mocha in the Biscuit cafe.
