Paris Still Life ...

… on the sidewalk returning from the supermarket at midday, on the Passage Foubert. It was just beyond the curve to the left in the linked image (it's exactly as I found it :) Our friends Nine and Didier left this morning to take their train back to their home in Rennes.  We had a very good visit, as always. Marylee met them as building neighbors during her stay in Paris in 1990-91, and I met them soon after I met Marylee in 1994.
