Calderglen

After a very wet morning, my mum and I went for a very pleasant walk in Calderglen Country Park in East Kilbride. With all the rain, the Calder Water was very high and the river thundered past us in places.

There are a number of old trees in the park, green with moss, branches forming intricate and quite beautiful shapes. This was one of those trees, its position made more dramatic by the white water thundering past.
