Nordic lights

When I stepped out on the upper balcony tonight to get some fresh air I noticed a flickering thin veil of green light in the night sky. 

I quickly grabbed my camera and tried to remember the best settings when photographing the nordic lights...couldn't find my tripod, so here is a handheld attempt at capturing this magical natural phenomena :)
