Welcome To GREAT

I landed back at Heathrow this morning - one of the first flights to land on day 1 of Brexit.

I saw this as I approached passport control. I have no idea if this has been up for ages or whether it’s a subtle message related to the new beginning for this great (adopted) country of mine.

Some are happy about this new beginning. Some are very sad. Whatever one’s views, many of us are glad to finally get to the point of moving forward, ready to do what needs to be done to make sure this country remains ‘Great’. I love this country and I’m very glad to be a part of it.

I’ve since found out that the ‘GREAT Britain’ campaign is the government’s international promotional campaign, showcasing the best of what Britain has to offer, encouraging people to visit, do business, invest and study in the UK, generating jobs and growth.
