We held a Commiseration party, with European food. Afterwards we watched Travels in Euroland with Ed Balls, because it was about Bremen, where friend are I are going in 2 weeks' time. Unfortunately, it was about the rise of the far right, anti-immigration party, APD. Not elevating.

At eleven pm there was a smattering of fireworks from houses on the opposite side of the hill, but it didn't last long. Most people are really Not Talking about Brexit. Too divisive.
