Glass & Steel On Ice
As a result of the cold weather we've been having, the harbour basin adjacent to the Oslo Opera House is now safe ice to walk on. I believe this is quite unusual and very spectacular!
This sculpture is a permanent installation made of steel and glass. Under normal conditions, it is floating on the water on a concrete platform, turning on its axis in line with the tide and wind - offering changing experiences through reflections from the water and its transparent surfaces.
