The Magic Forest

What a stunningly beautiful gorgeous and terrific day! Never mind that we are technically in the rainy season, we may as well enjoy what we’ve got since we got it. We had a lovely leisurely walk in Lighthouse Field, which was confettied with monarch butterflies discovering themselves in the sun, and just bursting with fuzzy buds on every shrubbery. Normally we walk on the path along the cliffs and the field is just background, but here we are, dazzled by all this lush green. This is the absolute best I’ve felt in days and days and how happy I am to be in all this wonder! Fish tacos from the food truck on the corner complete the picture. Sweet abundant gratitude for being alive in this enchanted place.
