Stumpy

Out this morning to water things and such-like, I noticed some beautiful warm light coming across the newly-regrowing lawn (yay rain!!) and the stump of the old maple. Grabbed my camera, lay down, and snapped.

Fair bit of flare. I managed to avoid the big purple circle that threatened, but couldn’t get rid of everything while still maintaining the angle and composition I wanted.

Also a lorikeet family, with chick in the middle.
