2.5C with occasional showers of tiny hailstones. Mostly grey and windy.

After grocery shopping we decided to go ahead and take Maeve the Deerhound for a walk before lunch. We wrapped up well. Maeve had a coat on too. Very cold in the wind, especially walking down the field with the bridle path and on the beach. Not too bad in the relative shelter of the area in front of the Fishermen's huts.

I found this small float lying in the long grass beside a pile of fishing gear and liked its painted number.

We all enjoyed our walk despite the cold. No hailstones to speak of when we were out, and with Maeve cosy in her coat we felt the better for some exercise. Forecast looks rather wet and extremely windy for tomorrow !
