Blue Birch

Out and about today and took a number of pictures for today's blip, but it was such a grey day they all seemed very flat to me when I reviewed them.

Back home and in search of inspiration when I took this shot of the tree outside in the street just as the light was going. When I got it up on the pc I liked the way the tree looked, but the background was dull. A few little adjustments later and in my view the sky is more interesting looking, the clouds are certainly more prominent and in fact I think the tree looks better as well.
