Finally got the handles on.

My daughter painted this old chest of drawers ages ago and the handles were mid brown bakerlite. Very art deco with a diamond shape on the front of the plastic. They were totally the wrong colour for the drawers so I thought I'll just order some from the internet. I couldn't get any to match up with existing holes in the drawer fronts. Very frustrating as I didnt want to make new holes and have to fill the old ones. Eventually I painted the old ones grey. That took ages because I has to mask off the threads on the handles then give 3 coats of paint. I'm pleased it is finally finished. I often start something full of enthusiasm then don't get round to finishing it when things get difficult (like not being able just to buy new handles).
