Hard frost...

crusted the ground , wet from yesterday and made walking different, if not awkward. Still -3C after I finished here. Ice kept the lochan fowl free but plenty of Grouse were cackling and a couple of Roe deer were feeding on the knoll. 
Later, we had snow, rain and then sun! Temperatures hung around 1.5.
