An unexpected trip into Carlisle this morning to stock up on bird seed.  I had planned to walk Misty in the woods enroute but when I saw how muddy it was I changed my mind and went to Bitts Park instead.  I also wanted to see how the Rhododendrons were coming along.  I wasn't disappointed and quite pleased to see a few flowers out.  I think there will be an amazing display in another week or so as long as Jack Frost doesn't spoil things.  There were also other flowers on display so what better way to spend a dull and dreary and wet afternoon putting a collage together.
