Oldbury Walk

37 miles on the bike this morning with a splendid lemon cake and coffee stop at Oldbury on Severn.

Back there at lunchtime for a family walk before Dad has his new knee tomorrow.

Wet, boggy, muddy, grey but good to be out.

That's Oldbury nuclear power station in the background (Opened 1967, Closed 2012, Magnox). Apparently, there are long term plans to build some more reactors on the site with added cooling towers as, apparently, the water from the Severn is not enough.

Been sat here doing school work for the last two hours. Trying to plan every day from now until mid June, as you do!
