My family

Found these two drawings in an autograph book:owned by my great aunt Lydia.
The pencil drawing is by her sister, my great aunt Emily Purse dated 1914

The cartoon is by her brother, my great uncle Herbert Purse, which he did in 1918.

They were a talented family. Their father, my great grandfather was a talented oil painter in his spare time. As a job he was a pattern maker for one of the shipping companies in Liverpool. He had one of his pictures displayed in the Walker Art Gallery.
