A day of doing nothing

After all the running around this week, I took the day off and mostly watched Netflix.

I decided (talk about leaving it to the last minute) to paint a plate to take to my brother and duster in law as a housewarming gift when we see them in Madrid in a few weeks, so after checking the pottery place is open tomorrow and can fire it before we leave on Saturday, I sketched out some potential options for a design. It includes places they have lived and both Scottish and Spanish items.

I’m not the best artist but I wanted to give it a go so hopefully it will turn out ok - will post a blip when it’s finished.

Other than that it’s been a good day doing nothing much.
