Nottingham lace

Yet another gift from my lovely daughter from some years ago. It hangs on the sitting room wall next to the door so I pass it frequently during the day. It is a lace embroidery sample and pattern number salvaged from a dismantled industry order book. The lady that framed it works in the old lace market. I love a piece of history.
Out with friends for lunch today and two lovely walks with hubby and pup as the weather was much nicer than forecasted. Was planning to make cornbread but couldn’t find any buttermilk in local shops.
