The day after dawned and mostly avoided the news - did see some horrific sights mainly xenophobes flying the Union Jack, alongside Farage singing God Save the Queen in Parliament Square. There was even a contingency from Glasgow with their Billy Boy’s crest on top of a UJ - that flag has come to mean all that is worst about the UK.

Met a friend from my old work who is getting bullied by her boss and gave her some advice about keeping a diary of each time it happens with date and what is said. Such a shame as she has recently returned from a major operation and her boss is not being patient and cutting her some slack.

Best friend of my daughter and an honorary member of ‘the gang’ had his birthday and Cameron made a delicious cake. Lots of laughs. Laughter really is the best medicine!
