Double Buck

Met our village "warden" out on his evening rounds of the countryside in his pick-up. He has given up his shooting patch but still has an enclosure where he keeps deer, Haven't spoken to him this year so lots to catch up on.

He offered me a bottle of Christmas Doppelbock 8,9% beer, presumably as he needs to make room for the Strong beer season which starts soon when carnival is done and lent begins.

He told me the two deer skulls are from Christmas & he had just put them through the high-pressure cleaner at the car wash (having previously boiled them).
