First Daffodil to Flower

I have spent a lot of time today ticking things of the to-do list in my diary; There are still several more jobs waiting for tomorrow. I am trying to do constructive jobs in the morning so that during the afternoon I can do whatever I like; today the afternoon will be spent doing some craft work.
 
Today’s picture is the first daffodil to flower in the garden, this year there are many more to come. This one, which was not open yesterday, looks rather battered, but it has been and still is quite windy.
 
The temperature at GMT noon was ten degrees Celsius, so back to blue for the temperature blanket.
