Light levels have increased quite a bit since Friday. This would have been almost impossible to get handheld then.
For the last few weeks there has been half an orange stuffed with fat and seeds hung from a tree from the birds. The birds don't appear to be near it. I am not sure if it is something to do with the citrus - or the face that has been pushed into it.

While waiting for SWMBO to be served at the Post Office I thought I would try and get a shot of the half heads under the apt sign - but the photobomber kind of grabbed the attention.

I got the Not Again look from Jay as he settled down in 'the' spot of sun.

As for the Blip ……… I got down to the school to collect the monsters and when The Cygnet came out, the first thing he said to me was "Why have you got different shoes on?".
The answer is that I knew the black shoes were under a chair in the dining room and I just stuck my feet into them. What I didn't know was the brown ones were under there too.
Boy was I embarrassed as I walked home again.
Mind you - I did have a Sergeant who turned up for work (via the bus) wearing his slippers. He has wondered why folk were sniggering at him from house to work (we didn't snigger - we roared with laughter)
