Under The Log

I photographed this log from every which way and liked this angle the most. I think my interest was piqued by the thought of a cosy hideaway for the winter months and perhaps the light creeping underneath, offering a promise of things to come.

I also liked the mix of warm tones in the bark and cool snow. And lastly, the interesting shapes moving through the frame and rough texture of the bark and fungi.
