An interesting day!
A day in Aberdeen started with a visit to the newly refurbished City Art Gallery. What a spectacular transformation!
Then off to the cinema to see 1917, brutal and chilling, but undoubtably a cinematographic masterpiece.
My entry for today is a painting from the Gallery. The work, a portrait by Ken Currie, is entitled Gallowgate Lard. Somehow its raw brutality reflects my feelings after watching 1917.
