Today I was mostly painting more thistles, only this time they've got a bit psychedelic!

Fairly ordinary Sunday till just after 7.30pm when Lola began swallowing hard as though something was lodged in her throat.  She didn't do it all the time but regularly enough for us to know something wasn't right.  

It was difficult to know if she was trying to swallow something down or if it was a reaction to feeling sick.  We phoned the vet around midnight and after a long conversation it was agreed we would keep an eye on her and call back if she got worse.  She was lying snoozing the whole time the vet was on the phone.  Typical!  :-)

Also knowing there is a vomiting bug that's going round dogs at the moment, David decided to sleep downstairs incase a quick clean up was required.

As I headed to bed the pair of them were getting settled on the sofa together....David on one side of the L and Lola on the other.  I'm sure she looked at me in a my plan worked kind of a way ;-))
