Officially in training ... and a selfie

I don't do many selfies but I thought I'd come clean and show that I have aged since the profile picture I posted a few years back.

Here I am on the Dry Gulch trail with my friend, Nina (I'm on the right). Nina and I will hike the Cotswold Way beginning May 12th. We've both hit that lovely age of 60 (I'm older but rounding down)  and the hike is one of the things we are doing to motivate ourselves to stay/get in shape.

This is the third day in a row that I've done the Dry Gulch Hike. One gets a lovely view of the valley and 1300' of glorious elevation gain. A little winded going up but that's a good thing, right?
