Someone is in serious trouble

The original trench for this cable was dug early last year and the guys had to come back twice to re-tar as the cable became exposed.

Its not a minor cable either as it brings the power from the mains to the whole of the boys hostel, including the laundry for the both it and the girls hostel.

The poor lady who runs the laundry happened to have wet clothing in her hands when she touched something and, thankfully for her, all the lights went out.  She has a nasty burn to her arm and hand and I don't think she will ever work in the laundry again.  Who could blame her!

I do feel sorry for the young guys sent back to redo the trench as they are expected to do it all by manual labour and in 30 degrees that cannot be fun.
