Another day, another pile of stones
This time north to Cheesbay where there is another settlement cleared in the early 1800s and resettled in the early 1900s.
Take enough phots and you can then get the computer to piece them together and create a 3D model of the building. This is a shot of that model.
The building itself is a bit of a conundrum as it has been immaculately built but appears never to have been roofed. Having seen a few other similar ones, we think we are beginning to understand why and when it was built and all to do with the, then, lucrative trade in seaweed.
