Honey Melon Sage Flower

These little red flowers are on a perennial herb bush I planted last spring.  It was late blooming since it did not bloom until early fall but it has not stopped.   The leaves have a smell very much like honeydew melon.     The tube shape flowers are only about one inch long and the buds are like a pin head.   I was  hoping that it would attract hummingbirds and bees with the red but I think the tubes are just too little for them.    But it looks pretty.
