Busy bees

A delightful day, almost hot! The bees were making the best of it, gathering pollen an nectar from snowdrops and crocus, and catkins. That means they are starting to rear some new brood.
This evening I went to a discussion group to help get through the Beekeepers Basic Assessment with some of the local bee group. Very interesting to hear everyone’s tales of swarms and other problems!
