The best kind of present

Dropped Fletcher back to Strichen on my way to school this morning and Ollie gave me this gift - a picture he’d coloured in and two little gingerbread men all done up in a dinosaur bag. But the best, the very best bit was the little tag saying ‘I love you’. It made me think how seldom I have actually told someone I loved them - parents, husband, children etc. I suppose I’ve always just expected that they know it. But how wonderful just to read that little tag at the start of the day and to feel so grateful for my family.
