Paisley Town Hall

George Clark one of the wealthy local thread barons of the town left £20,000 in his will for the building of this impressive 'pile' around 1880. We have been to many functions there since I was a lad, wedding receptions, concerts, fundraising events. It was restored in the 1980/90s and has in recent years hosted the Mod and many other big music events. At present interior restoration is ongoing leaving the public out in the 'cold'
