The original Severn bridge

Had to drive to Cardiff today. I was thirsty, so decided to take the old bridge (now the M48) and stop at Aust services - remembering the old service station building's fine views over the estuary. 


I found the building sold off and a very  miserable replacement away from the bank. Not surprising, given how quiet the motorway is.

Still it's about a 0.5km walk to get good views.
