Day 20: something you saw

I saw a tree, a magnificent tree,
It made me happy, particularly,
Because it grew from my fab family :)

A family friend made this for us. I adore it. I've blurred out some of the particularly personal info but I think you get the idea of what's been created.

E loved her sleepover and came back super chirpy for someone who was up till midnight and then up again at 6! She had alsorts of lovely snacks during her time away too. Made me and her sisters very jealous!

Had an impulse moment last night and signed up for my first half marathon. This meant I needed to get some proper inner soles for my trainers rather hastily. I must be mad, I have just 6 weeks to get run ready. Kinda excited, nervous and dreading it all at the same time. Eek!

I've put together a rough training schedule but the gearbox has just gone on the car and will be off the road for at least a week. Might struggle to make it to all my planned sessions. Double eek!

Kids have been window watching the snow falling all afternoon and the texts have been flying back and forth trying to anticipate whether we'll be blessed with a snow day tomorrow.
