Waiting to Pounce

A work from home day, relief after two early treks to London for me (Chris). Didn't stop the day being another one of those filled with seriously testing episodes that seem all to common right now.

At lunchtime, I put out some food for the birds and inevitably the squirrels came to have a look before being dissuaded from indulging by a pair of magpies. This one looked on in hope, then at me, then back at the bird table.
