My colleague Gill had to step into the breach a few months ago when our Curriculum Manager left. She was previously our CM for a long time and has now retired on more than one occasion. She’s had so many comebacks that her hubby calls her Frank! Today was her last day as Acting CM (I’ll miss working with her) and we celebrated after Quality Day (at least she did I was driving) with her fave tipple; G & T. Once back in Peebles I met up with some other chums at the Crown Hotel for drinks. Virgin Mary for me.
