Sun? Moon?

My new phone has a night shot setting and is supposed to be able to take clear shots of moon, stars etc.  Obviously I haven’t quite worked it out yet!  This looks like the sun not the moon, and with the naked eye I could see quite a bit of detail on the moon, but not on this image!  Back to the drawing board.  The extra was taken a little earlier and came out with a starburst even though it was SOOC.  Again it is the moon, but looks like the sun.  Pity the phone lines got in the way.
