The calm before...

The weather forecast for the weekend and into next week is dismal - gales for four days with rain, sleet or snow to be blown along by them. 

As I am still not recovered from my current virus I had already postponed the island surgeries due on Monday and Tuesday, but I suspect I wouldn’t have made them anyway.

This afternoon I did get out for the first time in six days , though only far enough for a slow stroll amongst the trees, which still have a few of last autumn’s leaves on them - for now at least.
