Otter

This is not the otter I photographed on 27th of January, though it is in the same area. The previous one was a big dog otter but I think this is a female adult. I did wonder if it was a cub from last year but it is pretty big for that. It was fishing  in the Loch of Stenness near the path at RSPB Brodgar. I'm not sure if it is yawning here or it may have eaten something with a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. It didn't seem bothered by me and two women passed with dogs and again it was not bothered. I also some a family of three on the Loch of Harray- two boisterous cubs and mother, but too far for usable photos. A mute swan in the extra.
