Catkins

The gas pipe replacement project finally reached our house yesterday and today the gas supply was turned off at 8 a.m. A few minutes later we were told that the drive would be blocked and we would need to move any cars we needed out of the way! Took me a while to shift my car as it was iced up!


Anyway, we went out just after 9 a.m. to meet our daughter and baby Emily at Monks Cross, near York. We had coffee and snacks and a wander round the shops then more coffee, before heading home. I managed to squeeze the car through the gap in the contractors barriers and back onto the drive. 

Spent the afternoon washing both cars...gas supply restored around 3:30 p.m. so the house was warming up as I finished up outside!
