Moss
I woke up to frost in the garden, and so after breakfast I went out and photographed some macro shots of the frost. I liked this one of the moss stalks with the melting frost on it.
It was a beautiful sunny day and I should have gone out somewhere more exciting but I am still walking Xena in quiet places - we have a woodland area just off the bottom of our road and no one goes there as it is not really known, so I walked with her there today and it was so sunny and bright, quite lovely.
I enjoyed our book club Burns Night supper last night - the food was so delicious and beautifully presented. I really enjoyed the dainty individual Atholl Brose puddings
Adam saw the consultant again yesterday and the MRI confirmed that he has not one but two herniated discs in his lower spine. It was much worse than the consultant was expecting but he sensibly has not suggested surgery and instead Adam is having specialist physiotherapy and also treatment from an osteopath. He cannot play rugby for the rest of the season which is a pity as he was doing well with it - and he also can't ski.
Gavin arrived back from LA this afternoon but he has gone straight to work and then has a function tonight so I will only see him tomorrow.
