At the Duck Pond, with Witch Hazel in Bloom

I had a meeting downtown on this afternoon, so I took the Red Link bus over to the library and then walked down from there. I noticed some pretty yellow bushes here and there. You might think they are forsythia, but this is way too early for forsythia. Those lovely golden blooms are witch hazel, and they reflect nicely on the duck pond.
