Freezing Cold Sunday

A nice cold walk around Morpeth today. The river was completely frozen over in parts. Spotted the heron and there were some ducks looking for a break in the ice. This garden in Carlisle Park was planted in honour of William Turner from Morpeth born in 1508 who was a famous botanist.
