The Dragon without George
Lunchtime I met with a group of lovely girlfriends at The George & Dragon in Ightham village, kent.
My blip is the rear of this early 16th C pub. The front, which dominates the village square, shows it is a black and white half timbered Tudor building, and was once one of three pubs in the village. Now it is the only remaining one, and probably the oldest as it was built around 1515.
I havent seen this group of friends since before Christmas and it was good to catch up on their news.
Ian had lunch at Arthur's house while babysitting for his granddaughter - Arthur's that is , not Ians! They came to pick us up and it was lovely to meet little Imogen. My extra is of four of us - two had left and one is skiing in Switzerland where she has a house.
