Palisades

Palisades is a small farming community near Wenatchee. The settlement and farms are in a coulee, or a valley carved by great Glaciers. One goes up Palisades road  for miles through wheat farms, dairy farms and even a vineyard. We went on some BLM (Bureau of Land Management -- land owned by the state) and hike around. The feeling of solitude was complete. Big sky. Basalt rock formations. The West
