Goodbye

Yesterday we said goodbye to Veronica, my friends mum.

Alzheimers had played it's part in the last few years but while she couldn't remember, we could.

Outlived a lot of her friends and family, it was a small affair but a lovely humanist service to send her on her way.

A day for thinking, as always. Mortality is never far from my thoughts. Maybe that's ok....reminds you to crack on.
