Troubled water

This massive construction is there to repair the outer walls of this bridge.

Every morning there's a careful dance between pedestrians, dogs and cyclists as the scaffolding grows. Soon we'll be in a tunnel.

Then we'll be as the Madhatter said:
"When you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark."

It's an honour to be let into somebody's darkness, and sometimes the scaffolding has to stay up for a while. Hard hats optional. Health and safety regulations and all that.
