A bit blowy

It has been windy today - no actually very windy indeed. Our windows are covered in salt blown in from the sea. After we had walked round the corner to do a bit of shopping, I was all for staying put for the rest of the day. The joy of having a spacious, light, bright, comfortable apartment is that we don't mind being indoors. 

We did venture out to the sea later and found the wind had died down a little, but it was hard going with the sand blowing around. Not that many people down on the beach and only a few venturing into the sea, although some families arrived later. It was a good day for kite surfers though, great waves. And still warm and sunny. Usually we are looking for shady places out of the sun; today we were looking for shelter from the wind.
