Christmas shopping

Yeah! Emily and the girls have landed. This morning we took Tiger Lily and The Pixie to the lovely little children’s bookshop in Mirfield to choose a book each as part of their Christmas present. A delightful way to spend an hour or so (Tiger Lily took ages to choose).
Then a quick trip to the shops and a slow lunch at Ravello our local deli/cafe where the little ones charmed the other customers.
A low key afternoon and now they are having their tea.
I’m astonished at the absence of jet lag but I am looking forward to an early night.
